"There is no such thing as an immortal work of art. There is only one kind of art, the greatest of them all: the art of making yourself a whole human being'. Gurdjieff

Sacred geometry is the blueprint of Creation and the genesis of all form. It is an old science which explores and explains the energy patters that create and unify all things. It reveals the precise way that the energy of Creation organises itself. Within the different scales each pattern of growth or movement is based on one or more geometric shapes. It is possible to identify these mathematical patterns in everything around us. From atoms and stars to human-made buildings. Our brain recognises these geometrical shapes on a subconscious level.

The ancients believed that the experience of Sacred Geometry was essential to educate the soul. It was already known by then that these patterns and codes symbolized our internal worlds and the subtle structure of awareness.

By immersing ourselves in the world of Sacred Geometry we begin to perceive –like never before- the beauty of Creation and its amazing weft. The molecules of our DNA, snow flakes, flower petals, conical cup of pines, diamond crystals, tree branches, sea shells, the star of our Solar System, the air we breathe and all known forms of life emerge from eternal geometrical codes. Viewing and contemplating these codes allow us to gaze directly at the lines on the face of deep wisdom and offers up a glimpse into the inner workings of the Universal Mind and the Universe itself.

My works belong to that tradition. They have been created from visualisations and images received through meditations and dreams. Their aim is to bring beauty and light into our lives, while remembering the perfection of Nature and the world we live in.

LUCILA BEMBIBRE
Born 08/11/1976.

I graduated in Graphic Design from the University of Buenos Aires. I have worked as an art director, designer and manager of interdisciplinary projects in the visual arts field for more than 10 years. I've always been interested in and dedicated to drawing and painting.

A while ago I became very interested in alternative therapies such as floral therapy, reiki and ayurveda. They gradually became part of my life, enriching my work with a more natural and spiritual focus. I have also studied, practiced and later taught yoga. Meditation and sacred geometry have been like a bridge to me: a way of understanding and unifying the knowledge I had acquired. They have also helped me translate experience into image. We are all geometry; so is everything around us and every experience in our path. If we are able to stay in the present, geometry brings us closer to the truth that solves all mysteries: the Unity of the Self.

My ongoing search is motivated to the understanding of the outside World and the need of expression of my inner World. During this search I have been experimenting with different techniques. I have also explored the wide range of feelings caused by shapes and colours and their interaction with human perception and emotions.

My creative work, together with a deep interest in self-discovery and conscience exploration, has resulted in pieces where light and colour, subtlety and transparency feature prominently.

I work with mixed techniques including acrylic on canvas, coloured pencils, wax, collage, airbrushing and especially digital images.
